S & P Welding

About S&P Construction:

S & P Welding was founded by Tom Smith and Chan Peters in 1998.  They are long time friends and both graduated from Weed High School in New Mexico in the 80’s.  They have traveled and worked together for many years and formed the business S & P Construction in 1998.  Starting under the name S & P Construction, the business was incorporated in 2001and the name was changed to S & P Welding & Construction, Inc.

The business started off doing small fencing jobs in Royce City, Texas area and rapidly expanded after they were building a horse barn and apartment for Chan when a local resident stopped and wanted Chan and Tom to build him a building.   The rest is history.

Tom, a skilled welder, taught the art of welding to Chan and both got their welding certifications in 1999.  They have traveled as far as Boston Massachusetts to work a welding job on Satellite Raining Systems, to Greenville, South Carolina to construct a small building.  Most all of the work they do today is within a 100 mile radius of Royce City, Texas where their shop is now located.

The company now employees 7 people and is built on a strong foundation of excellent craftsmanship, skill and a strong faith in God.  S & P Welding and Construction offers all levels of building.  From dirt work site preparation to total construction they will do as little or as much as you would like

They are proud to have built some of the Cowboy Churches’ in our area including the Caney Creek Cowboy Church, Higher Trails Cowboy Church and Bull Creek Cowboy Church.

The company supplies labor to Mueller, Inc. in Caddo Mills to erect their own building.  Offers custom designed buildings, dirt work, concrete and complete building erection with interior finish.   The flexibility of S & P Welding and Construction, Inc. makes them the ideal company for all levels of your construction project.

When you can’t find Chan and Tom on the construction site you can often find     them at the Bull Creek Cowboy Church in Lone Oak, Texas where Chan is the lay pastor over the Arena Team plays rhythm guitar in the church band.  Tom is active in the church helping with all the arena events that are put on there. Tom enjoys training horses and keeps a couple outside horses to train for cutting and All-Around Ranch Horse competition.   Chan enjoys team roping and sorting cattle.  He mostly rides horses that Tom has trained.   They both have a true love for the cowboy way of life.
